SILICONE HI TEMP COATING

For interior or exterior metal surfaces subject to extreme temperatures such as stoves, boilers, breechings, fire stacks, ovens and hot pipes.

PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES – A silicone alkyd resin coating formulated to give outstanding service on metal surfaces subject to continuous heat ranging from 450°F to 1500°F.

FINISH – Flat (60° Gloss – 5-10)

COLORS – As desired

SPREADING RATE – 450 sq. ft. at 1 mil dry film thickness

DRYING TIME – 15 minutes tack free 4 hours dry

VISCOSITY – 30″ @80°F #4 Ford Cup

THINNING – Mineral Spirits

SURFACE PREPARATION – Surface should be clean, dry and free of loose scaly paint. Heat should be reduced at atmospheric temperature if possible. No primer is necessary on interior surfaces. On exterior surfaces such as stacks where sandblasting is necessary, a first coat of TCB Zinc Rich Primer is suggested. Brush, Roll or Spray on coat of Silicone Hi Temp Coating and allow to dry 4 hours before being exposed to temperatures above 450°F.
