B-B MARINE SPAR VARNISH

Exterior wood surfaces such as paneling, trim decks, boats and logs.

PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES – A specially formulated exterior varnish for withstanding weather elements of both cold and hot temperatures. Excellent resistance to both salt and fresh water makes it an exceptional boat finish.

COLOR – CLEAR

SPREADING RATE – 600 ft per gallon @ 1.15 mils dry film thickness.

DRYING TIME @ 70F – To touch – 4 to 6 hours. To recoat – 24 hours.

THINNING – TCB Paint-O-Sol or mineral spirits.

SURFACE PREPARATION & PAINTING SYSTEM – Surface must be clean, dry and free of wax or grease. Fill open grain wood with TCB Paste Wood Filler. Sand smooth and apply 1 coat TCB Spar Varnish reduced 10% with TCB Paint-O-Sol or mineral spirits. Let dry 24 hours and apply 1 or 2 coats TCB Spar Varnish at .full strength. Sanding lightly and finished with 1 coat at full strength.

EQUIPMENT CLEANUP – TCB Paint-O-sol or mineral spirits
