AL 10-300 ALUMINUM WASH PRIMER

For use as a primer and conditioner on unpainted aluminum to insure a good bond for subsequent paint films.

PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES – A two component vinyl butyl resin – acid etch wash primer, which develops excellent adhesion on aluminum without any pretreatment of the metal.

COLOR – Transparent – Greenish Yellow

SPREADING RATE – 550 sq. ft. at 1 mil dry film thickness

DRYING TIME – 1-2 minutes tack free 1~ hours dry

VISCOSITY – 20″ @ SO°F #4 Ford Cup

THINNING – Al 10-300 Reducer

SURFACE PREPARATION – Surface should be clean, dry and free of wax or grease. Pre-mix components ‘A’ and ‘B’ in equal amounts and stir thoroughly. “– Apply a thin coat with brush, roller or spray. Allow 2-3 hours drying time to recoat. Pot life after mixing is 8 hours. Caution must be taken to avoid contact with eyes or skin as component ‘B’ contain Phosphoric Acid.
